Our patented fire‑rated Ezy Penno are pre‑cut, pre‑formed, pre‑taped, and clearly labelled to the correct length and width. It is engineered to insulate and prevent the spread of fire across a wide range of our Fire Rated Solutions tested systems, including:

• • Stainless steel pipes
  • Copper pipes
  • Thick‑wall steel pipes
  • Thin‑wall steel pipes

The blanket is approved for use in multiple FRL ratings, including -/60/60, -/90/90, and -/120/120, and is suitable for installation in the most common wall and floor types:

• Plasterboard
• Concrete
• Blockwork (unfilled and core‑filled)
• Brick
• Aerated Concrete (ACC)
• PVC wall systems (concrete‑filled)
• Masonry
• Ezy Batt systems

Installation Process for walls with 60, 90 and 120min barrier rating.

1. Pipes are measured by their outside diameter (O/D), and the correctly sized Ezy Penno / Ezy Wrap is selected.
2. Ezy seal mastic is applied to fill the Annular gap from 5mm to a maximum of 30mm to the full depth of plasterboard barrier or a maximum of 26mm in hard surfaces.
3. Ezy Penno is installed around pipe and secured with tape.
4. Cable ties are applied and secured in the labelled positions 50mm from barrier then every 100mm.
5. Ezy Seal Red Mastic is then installed with a 20 mm fillet using the red applicator to ensure correct installation.

Wall‑to‑Floor Transitions   TOPSIDE INSTALL ONLY

1. Transitioning from wall to floor is simple. Use two Ezy Penno’s, or Ezy wrap
2. Fill Annular gap on the floor can be either filled with Ezy Seal or non-shrink grout with a 5mm to a maximum 30mm same as walls.
3. Insert 50mm wide backing rod down from top of penetration leaving a 50mm – 100mm layer to fill with either Ezy Seal or non-shrink grout.
4. A layer of Ezy Seal or non-shrink grout filled to a minimum depth of 50mm then finished level with the floor.
5. Measured outside diameter (O/D) of the pipe, and the correctly sized Ezy Penno / Ezy Wrap is selected.
6. Place first full layer of wrap around base of pipe at the floor level penetration
7. Place the first half at the bottom of the wrap at floor level. So, there are two layers at floor level (one full length and a second cut layer at the base)
8. Position the second half at the top of the first vertical layer extending the overall length, this creates a tiered effect (wedding Cake)
9. Ezy Seal Red Mastic is then applied around the base with a 20 mm fillet using the same red applicator to ensure correct installation.
10. Cable ties are applied and secured in the labelled positions 50mm from barrier then every 100mm.
